About the production
Set in a classroom in Karaj, Iran, in 2008, Sanaz Toossi’s Pulitzer Prize–winning play follows four adults preparing for the TOEFL exam as they wrestle with language, identity and the pull of leaving home.
“The actors, ably directed by Kimberly Senior, handle the switches effectively, often fueling the play with humorous moments.”
