About the production
Two years after Pride and Prejudice, the Bennet sisters gather at Pemberley for Christmas, where bookish Mary unexpectedly finds a match of her own.
“Told with modern wit and dazzling period style, this romantic comedy will delight Austen aficionados and newcomers alike.”
— Wisconsin NPR, Staff
“The playwrights have written short wordless transitions between the scenes; director Kimberly Senior has enhanced the comedy in these, as though they were silent-film bits.”
— Journal Sentinel, Jim Higgins
“Directed by Kimberly Senior, Miss Bennet utilizes the same sarcastic and witty banter Austen was famous for, and is sweet and romantic without being sappy; moreover, the play is incredibly, delightfully funny from start to finish.”
— Ozaukee Local, Mary Boyle
